Announcement: Renewal of the Measuring System for Air Conditioners in Regular Classrooms (September 5, 2018)

1. To renew the measuring system for air conditioners in all regular classrooms, card readers will be successively replaced from now on. During this period, a user can use a card reader without inserting a card into it if its measuring system has been renewed.
2. New cards used for turning air conditioners on will be available for purchase from September 17, 2018 onwards. Please recycle your old cards at the Purchasing & Supply Section of the Office of General Affairs, and have your deposit and value stored in your old cards returned.
3. According to the resolution made for the extempore motion proposed by the Office of General Affairs at the Administrative Meeting held on July 3, 2018, the charge for air-conditioning cards used in regular classrooms has been reduced from NT$ 0.6 to NT$ 0.4 per minute to adapt to the increase in tuition and incidental fees, maintain the principle of fair charge, and implement the low-carbon emission policy. The charge for new cards (used in Zhengqi Hall) is as follows (NT$ 150 deposit included):

1. Card with 1000 points stored: The original price is NT$ 600; the new price after deduction is NT$ 450.
2. Card with 2000 points stored: The original price is NT$ 1050; the new price after deduction is NT$ 750.
3. Card with 3000 points stored: The original price is NT$ 1500; the new price after deduction is NT$ 1050.

1. Each point is still equivalent to the use of an air conditioner for 45 seconds. You cannot add value to your new card. When points stored are used up, you have to return the used card and buy a new one.

A deposit of NT$ 150 is included in the card price. You can have the deposit returned when returning the used card to Hi-Life or 7-Elevan on campus.
